I feel comfort reading a lot of these reviews and seeing I'm not the only person experiencing this. I came to pathways seeking a higher education and wanting to obtain a degree I could use towards a profession. I have absolutely loved my Institute classes and the discussions we have but that's really where it ends. The workload for these courses is extremely unreasonable for full time working students and the support from teachers is extremely minimal, with no instruction being given whatsoever. This program is not efficient for anyone living in the United States who wants a solid education. I do not recommend it. I was excited about having an affordable option to earn a second degree from home while raising my young children, but this program has caused more stress than it’s worth. I don’t feel that I’m receiving a quality education for the career path I’ve chosen. There is absolutely no technical support. I share the same sentiments of nearly every other reviewer. When I started pathway 5 or so years ago I was so impressed. Great learning environment, wonderfully applicable courses, and a cost that has no comparison. There were some challenges like no reasonable access to support, lengthy ticket response, and poor opportunity to communicate with instructors. Registering for courses is easy, but after taking a break from school, the administration seriously messed up my schedule. Some of my classes aren’t in the proper order, and now I have to manually add the ones I'm supposed to take. The peer mentors are basically useless, they don’t seem to know what they’re doing and most of them don't live in the US. BYU-Pathway is a joke. I did the core classes and needed them sent to Ensign College. I sent them in early December and it's January 13th and I'm a week into school at Ensign and BYU Pathway has still not sent transcripts. It's a joke. I've called and "escalated" multiple times. They give you a companion app to check updates and on my end it was "Assigned to an Agent" on December 19th.
