we had a wonderful experience! Don B was an outstanding waiter - friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. the drinks were mixed perfectly. highly recommend both the restaurant and Don B’s excellent service! when we visit london again we will definitely come again!
Ordered a variety of dishes as there was so much offered on their Christmas menu! Happy to report everything tasted heavenly. However, given the busy day and time, service wasn’t at par to the quality and presentation of food

I went to this place with my friends and we had a very bad experience. The French toast didn’t taste good and was very dry. But the worst thing was that the waiters were very rude to us. When I ordered they started laughing and making fun of us -I don't know why-, and when I wanted to go to the bathroom, he looked at me in a rude way and told me "it's only for customers". I told him I was a customer and he didn't even look at me, he just said: “upstairs”. The 25% tip is a scam!
The cafe is perfect to have a real experience at an afternoon tea place. I recommend the luxury cream afternoon tea (it is all sweet) and there are also salty options.
