The cakes here are presented well, but the taste doesn’t reflect the price. They don’t have the richness you’d expect from cakes made with real, high-quality ingredients, they come across more like mass-produced cakes using cheaper substitutes. For the cost, I was hoping for something that tasted more natural and fresh.

I visited Café Concerto in Covent Garden and really enjoyed the experience overall. The location is great – right in the heart of Covent Garden, which makes it easy to stop by while exploring the area. The food was delicious, and the desserts were a highlight – beautifully presented and just as good as they looked. Beautiful Cafe! Having to choose a cake when offers such a variety of beautifully present cakes is a challenge. We went for the black forest gateau, it was very moreish and I can only imagine all the other offerings were just as delicious. Beautifully smooth and creamy hot chocolate which a huge dollop of cream. Service from Maria was 1st class and she went out of our way to provide a wonderful afternoon. Highly recommended!
Had a wonderful breakfast at Caffe Concerto, food was lovely and the service amazing. Our waiter was Abhishek and he was so attentive and polite. All of the waiting staff were very professional and friendly. We will definitely be back when we visit Covent Garden again.
