Although did not dine in,bought a slice of a chocolate cake to have in Hyde Park as the weather last weekend was quite good. The waiter was very polite and served really well. I may comeback for an afternoon tea with a friend as I liked the service and so the cake was delicious, not too sweet and sickly at all.
My colleague had a chicken club sandwich and the red velvet cake a duo I recommended and he left the restaurant delighted. I went for the Tuna and avacado sandwich and the Biscoff cheesecake. I have confidently stated this is one of my favourite restaurants which has a history of delivering the one thing I didn’t enjoy in this specific experience was the Biscoff Cheesecake it was very disappointing. I stopped for a slice of cake and a coffee. I had a black americano and a slice of the strawberry gateaux. Nice. Lovely, elegant restaurant. Not too busy surprisingly on a Friday evening. Lovely atmosphere and relaxing. Clean. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Good service. I wouldn't make a special trip. Nothing to write home about, but if you are in the area, desperate for a coffee and cake like me, then yes, it was fine.
Such an amazing experience; great atmosphere with super friendly customer service. Strawberry Gateaux is must try in here. It’s too good. Don’t miss out and thank me later.
My drink came with a chipped glass, luckily i had a straw and did not notice the broken glass until mid way of drinking. The Waitress looked confused when i mentioned, and my husband had to say I was only drawing it to her attention so as not to give the glass to another customer. There is 13.5% discretionary charge, this a 6.5% service charge and 7% hospitality.
