RecommendedI recommend Shelby because of Dr R. Marks who saw my son at Grandview Hospital. Dr Marks also does Invasive Surgery at Shelby. Thanks Dr. Marks We did not use Cahaba, because the appointment was set way too far out for my dying 18 who was down to 100 pounds from 149 in a matter of two weeks and the Dr at Gastro Health saw no need to admit him immediately. we went to them on July15th they scheduled him for August 26. I don’t recommend this place because when you’re prescribed a medication that you’ve been waiting three months to see a doctor to get, they never call it in. I have gotten three different excuses as to why my prescription has not been called in to my Pharmacy. They are very unorganized, three different people asked me the same questions yesterday after all of those questions were answered on my paperwork, which I filled out and completed yesterday. if you have insurance they are great and they will help you with your problems. But if you lose your insurance and then they will make you feel like you have no hope. My last visit was the worst and the Nurse practitioner was very uncomfortable about getting my health problems taking care to the point that before I let her know my insurance dropped me she was all to ready to set up my stuff for biopsy and surgery and then I told her I had insurance lose and she told me to come back in a week or two and maybe birth control p... read more
