Absolutely Heartbreaking Experience – Do Not Trust Them with Your Pet I left my dog at California Animal Rehabilitation Center for what was supposed to be a two-week stay while I was away, and it turned into an absolute nightmare. When I picked him up, I was shocked and devastated. My dog, who was healthy and full of energy when I dropped him off, came back skinny to the bones, with his ribs and spine clearly visible. Can’t recommend CARE enough! The staff is top notch and truly care about the dogs they work with. Dr Polkowski and every single staff member have been amazing with my American Bulldog. They are thorough and take the time to work with your pup, whatever the injury or condition may be.
In January 2024, my Cooper, 83 lbs, 10 years old choc lab had an emergency spinal surgery and he had the best recovery at CARE for two weeks right after. I was so glad that I found CARE. Cooper was too!! Their staff from frontend to backend and vets were so kind to us. I felt Cooper was in good hand right away when Dr Karen assessed and took him in.
