So I ordered the door seen darker in the first picture but what I recieved at my door was a white door! I refused the delivery and called the store only to be berated. Two people took my order and I was very clear on the color/stain I expected. Furthermore I thought you can’t mess this up when I the customer are pointing at an exact copy of what I want in the floor model that is ten feet from us. Beware of this business. Influenced by the excellent BBB Rating, I engaged California Door and Frame to replace the garage entry door because there was visible dry rot on the frame. The price was $2,253.77. I was very disappointed in the quality of the work and the performance of the employees. The phone representative stated the whole door had to be replaced because they were pre-hung. The installer was sent to measure the door. Stopped by here yesterday after trying another shop that we discovered was appointment only just to see the showroom. Was a little concerned with the reviews but they are also very old. Met Rebecca at the front counter and she was terrific. Helped us with all the information we were looking for and was very friendly. We haven't made a decision yet on who to go with but this shop will certainly be at the top of our list.
The office people are great the owner does decent to make up for his crappy shop guy the owner cleans up the shop guys mess constantly the shop guys got an attitude problem and does piss poor work when unattended by the owner
Abe installed our closet doors in less than a day and they look great. His communication leading up to the install and cleaning up of the job site were added bonuses. Thanks Abe and California Door.
