I had a very GREAT experience here! I came in for terrible hormonal cystic acne. Jason Roddick treated me right away with a steroid injection to ease my pain! He discussed treatment options with me and even suggested an option no other dermatologist had ever mentioned to me before and I have been struggling with acne since high school! He really took his time and explained everything thoroughly. Did not feel rushed and was treated with such AMAZING care! I highly recommend him!! Love this place!

I like the people at the Beaumont office but the billing process is from the 90's. Their online payment is sketchy and you have no idea if you've already paid a bill or not and there is no way to tell. I called the number and have to wait 72 hrs for them to return my call. I just need receipts for my insurance but they've turned this into an ordeal. Are they so broke they can't afford a basic payment system?

When I arrived the receptionist ignored me. I was the only person in the lobby but she did not even respond when I spoke to her. I signed in on their sheet and she waited about 2 mins and then called me up to hand me a tablet to complete and a form, which was all info that was filled in on the tablet. So you're just rewriting the same info. I realized that the sign in sheet just scribbles over your name after they sign you in, which does not seem HIPAA compliant. I saw the NP, who was fine. Terrible experience. Never made it past the lobby. Receptionist was TERRIBLE as stated in other reviews for this office. Condescending tone, rude, lacking insurance knowledge. Had us wait an hour to tell us that her and her billing dept didn't know how to process us as a PPO (we are an HMO PPO combo so we can self refer so they were simply not willing to go the extra keyboard mile). They run a "Mohs Day"-a horrible experience where they rush patients through to cut bits and pieces off. I will never set foot in their office again. They run it like a factory, so many patients were packed in their waiting room that they ran out of seats. They have no plastic surgeon on site. Dr. Macknett attempted to stitch up Mohs surgery on my nose, and said "It looks perfect". Ha ha. Two years later, it looks terrible. I have a noticeable scar on my nose, It is ugly and embarrassing. Hi I would definitely not recommend this place expensive $166 for a visit. I took my daughter here I said ok let me get a good place that knows what they are doing especially since it's my daughter's face. The visit only took 3 minutes seriously she just looked at her nose gave her a prescription and told us to go back in 3 months. The prescription did nothing no improvement at all. I had a telephonic conference with Dr. Dale Macknet today. I think was my fourth appointment with him in my second telephonic appointment because I'm disabled. He was very concerned about some issues I had ongoing and he was generally caring of my situation. Usually doctors don't seem to care that much about older people and I'm 70 years old.
