She helped me immensely when I was first diagnosed. Took an extensive amount of time giving me information and answering my questions. She is a brilliant surgeon and seems very on top of everything. She calls me personally to check in with me during chemotherapy. Cancer is hard but she presents everything in a way that feels transparent but is also hopeful.
Wished I could have had a better experience with this Doctor. She does not take criticism well. As her patient, I expressed frustration in the way she presented me information and gave feedback on what could be done differently. Her response was very defensive. She did not leave me feeling validated, supported or understood. Instead I received a surprising amount of ego from a surgeon who’s been an attending for only 2 years.
