I was very impressed with Dr Blocker . He had done 1 week and 1/2 my first epidural injection into my spine (L 5 ) . He went over my medications and helped me with them and he was very attentive and listened to my remarks about my injections . These are the 2 nd injections I have had at Emerge ortho . The first one was not by Dr Blocker ; it was done on my L 4 in my spine but not by Dr Blocker . I felt he really listened to me . Very glad to have found Dr Blocker. Dr Blocker makes me feel heard. At age 78 l don't feel heard or even seen by many doctors. Dr. Blocker makes eye contact and follows my questions with answers that assure me that he is listening. I have full confidence that Dr. Blocker cares about my wellbeing.
Dr. blocker was very professional, and he explained everything that was going on while doing the procedure. I am not one who likes shots and he was very personable and talk to me the whole time and distracted me which I really appreciated. He was kind and I would 100% recommend him. His assistant Caroline was also very kind and very informative
I had a great first visit with Dr. Blocker today. He was up to date on my history and listened to my concerns and desire for new ideas for treatment. I left the visit with an action plan that included new ideas for treatment to incorporate into my daily exercise and lifestyle. It was a pleasant and relaxed meeting.
Dr. Calvin Blocker was extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and had a very pleasant demeanor. I had a lot of anxiety about the process; however he eased my heart and mind. I am extremely thankful that I came in the office limping and left being able to bear weight. And now I am back to normal. Thank you God and Dr. Blocker!
