Todd and the team at Canadream Whitehorse were brilliant!! I hired 6 x trucks campers for my group , we travelled into Alaska and down to Homer on the Kennai Peninsular then back up through Talkeetna , Denali , Top of the World Highway to Dawson City then tackled the Dempster Highway all the way to Tuktoyaktuk. The vehicles never missed a beat which speaks volumes for their pre trip preparation. A huge thank you from Steve and the NZ 4x4 Treks team.
Great experience with Canadream. Loved the RV and it was well kitted out as our travel agent added all the extras. However we had a flat and we had a variable challenges with the call center. The first person we spoke to wasn't very helpful at all, the second person, Cherry, was brilliant. Then came the charge, it was going to cost $2000 CAD to send something to fix the flat (despite having enhanced cover). We ended up getting it fixed by a local guy for under $70 CAD. We had a very positive experience using CanaDream RV Rentals in Whitehorse. The staff were knowledgeable and efficient in getting our vacation bucket list adventure up the dempster to the Arctic Ocean underway. We would use them again for our next adventure.
Great experience altogether. From the shuttle bus drivers's warm welcome to the knowledgeable staff's assistance and easy check-in to the great truck camper (diesel F350), Canadream made exploring the yukon and southeast Alaska a breeze.
As a first time camper, we jad great fun in our Truck Camper for 10 days.
