This review is written on behalf of my family members who have resided in this neighborhood for nearly two decades. They are retired individuals who have stayed committed to this community for around 20 years. During my recent visit, I was shocked by the state of the premises. The facilities are poorly maintained, the pool is in a dreadful state and inaccessible, the landscaping is unimpressive, and there is insufficient street lighting throughout the complex, just to highlight a few problems. Pricw per square feet used to be about the best. We lived here years ago, different owners. The carpets were never replaced, layer after layer of paint, half an inch perhaps. The maintenance were usually responsive but careless. We had walkway lights that were slaughtered during mowing. We had no choice on internet, but it was "cheap". I submitted an application and paid the application fee and the administration fee. I ended up not signing the lease because of how incompetent or deceptive these leasing agents were. They'll try their best to keep you from knowing any useful knowledge or information in regards to the paper work and the move-in process and about the condition of the apartment until the very last moment so you can't make any well-informed decision on whether or not you should move-in to the apartment.
Hello, I’m a resident at Candlelite Apartments in Fort Wayne, IN. I have a 2 bed/2 bath apartment. I’ve lived here for 18 months. It hasn’t been the best. There’s always problems in the apartment with the heat, the AC, leaks, plumbing, the old double closet doors falling on top of you and the cable and internet service is atrocious. The last week of May my refrigerator went out. On Friday, May 31, 2024, maintenance came and replaced the refrigerator with a very small refrigerator, until the part came to my refrigerator. I've lived at Coventry Court and Candlelite Apartments!! I loved both my apartment's, they were very spacious and accommodating! Danica has always been great!!! If ever I had a problem she would go out of her way to fix it and make things right!! Management has also been understanding and worked with me to make sure my needs were meet!! Coventry Court were the first apartment's that gave me a chance and I will always appreciate them for that!! Thank you for your hospitality!!! Gina Price
