My little chihuahua Cookie has been a regular at Canine Country Club on 4th since 2007. She absolutely LOVES everyone here and always stays in a condo. She gets 3 walks a day, playtime and "yappy hour". Plus her condo lets her go between inside and outside during the daytime. Everyone on staff is so warm, friendly and very professional. They really care about your pet's experience and do an amazing job. I've had to be out of town for 3 weeks at a time to help my parents out of state, and although I miss her, I know she is i... read more
Ive used this facility twice now for overnight boardings. Both times I've been happy. The girls are very nice at the desk. My doggie has seemed happy both times after I have picked him up. One thing I saw in other comments is about how the fees ad up. I wish they would just include it all in one price. Its $1 for your own food. More for treats. $4 for each 15 minute play outing. It all adds up. Three nights came out to a little over $100. I will likely use this kennel again next weekend trip that I take. Just mak... read more
My dog's a regular for doggie day camp at Canine Country Club, but now we've had our first overnight stay so I have an updated review. I'm ok with his stay, and he LOVES it there so I'm not totally sure how to rate it. It could be another five-starrer: he's happy and content and well-cared-for BUT The complaints others have had ARE correct: the overnight stay is $27. That is the *BASE PAY*. Your stay will NOT be $27. If you want him fed his own food, that's $1 per meal. If you want him to go to doggie day care, that's t... read more
I booked last minute at Canine Country Club and Feline Inn because a friend came into town that was very scared of cats, so my cat couldn't stay at home. I was nervous because my cat is very anxious and can be quite mean and aggressive. Past experiences with boarding her had not gone well. The people at Canine Country Club and Feline Inn were great! They welcomed Aly (my cat) and gave her plenty of room to play and sleep while she was there. When I picked her up, she wasn't scared like she had been for days after previo... read more
My dog's trainer recommended that I take my pound hound to doggy daycare so she could be socialized with strangers (humans) and dogs. I had previously used Canine Country Club (CCC) for boarding a former dog and so began taking her to CCC for dogcare. It has been a big success - my dog is much more comfortable with strangers and just loves going to CCC. She recognizes the route I drive to CCC and gets very excited with she realizes that is where we are headed. I don't worry about my dog when she is at CCC, whether in dog... read more
Finding a dogsitter I trust has been impossible in Abq. Not only is this place cheaper than in-house visits, my pooch was very well taken care of. The small casitas are a great package deal.
This was the 4th doggie beauty parlor I'd taken my dog to, and the first one I left her at. There are some SERIOUSLY dodgy groomers in ABQ. CCC seems clean & nice, fairly friendly staff (not super, I must say) and the dogs seem to like it. But for almost $80, frankly the cut is pretty amateurish. The finishing bits, around her feet, ear, & edges are very rough. And I also don't think the washing was very thorough. So, overpriced, but at least they didn't bake my dog under the dryer, or cut her ear, etc.
This 4th str location is racist and prejudice since the first day I took my pet. My dog got sick once he stayed there. I would use them ever again

I dropped off my puppy for grooming. When I picked him up he seemed like he had been drugged. He was sedated, could barely stay awake, was skittish and easily frightened by any sudden movements for at least a day. I won't be back.
