They killed my dog. He was there to be groomed. He was overheated in the drying process and developed breathing problems. The rapid panting caused swelling, his larnyx became paralyzed causing more breathing difficulties. Due to the lack of oxygen he voided, diarhea, and dirtied himself - so they did it again. His was a horrible death. Don't let them groom your pet unless you are there to watch.

Not a good experience. Would give them even less than a star. Dog has been to other groomers and been just fine. They were not able to give her a haircut. They scared her so much that she pooped all over herself multiple times. Then they had the gall to charge us full price for a bath! The other location was fine but not this location. Stay away. The manager came across as insolent. Not a good experience.
The personnel are polite and courteous BUT... their policy of a seven (7) day limit for cancelation (to get your $25, per pet) deposit refunded is Ridiculous. Emergencies happen and they shouldn't penalize their customers like this. It's uncalled for as far as I am concerned. Even HUMAN hotels provide a better cancelation policy than these folks do. I would have second thoughts about using them, because of this policy.
This place is overpriced. They tack on extra costs everywhere, including an extra cost for feeding your dogs their own food from home. In the end, you'll end up spending more than other well known boarding facilities in ABQ - I've done the analysis. Now, the general prices don''t bother me as much as the stupid policies. My family and I will never board with Canine Country Club again. When we dropped off our pup a staff member immediately took her back, then they were reluctant and rude when we asked to see her for hugs and kisses goodbye. We were told by several different staff members we could call to check on our pup anytime, but we realized day 1 they close by 5 and are unreachable by phone, same applies to all day on Tuesdays. Very disappointed with this doggie hotel. They charge for items that should be included in the kennel charge. Who'd a thought the kennel charge did not include taking the dog out once a day to do their duty. Really. They have a $4.00 a day change for a once a day walk, but it should be advertised as a $4.00/day to take your dog out to potty. Sad to think our dogs had to do their duty in their cage.
