I have been going to this office past few years. I requested a refill for my prescription. They said that I need to make an appointment which I made. When I came to my appointment, they requested money up front. My insurance doesn’t have a co payment and I never paid anything up front. They refused taking me and I left. I get endoscopy every two years and always paid my bills. I get my B12 injection once a month and I pay my bills. Is there a rule change for payments?
This was my first visit with Dr Mark Gloger after the doctor I used to see regularly at the Capital Digestive Care location in Rockville, Maryland. Dr Gloger was courteous, attentive and thorough in trying to establish a mental profile of me as his new patient. I was also impressed by the fact that he had obviously reviewed the records of my past visits with his predecessor. This first visit with Dr. Gloger met my expectations as I left feeling confident that I was in competent, caring hands.
It was my first visit and Dr Sohail was great - very attentive, professional and kind. He made sure I understand everything and we are on the same page with the next steps, which I really appreciated. The front desk ladies were also kind and professional. This unfortunately cannot be said about the assistant who went through the questionnaire with me and took vitals…she was very direct, spoke mostly with commands and was visibly annoyed when I (a foreigner!) didn’t understand her right away. Terrible experience when I checked in for my initial appointment. Staff were rude and condescending towards me. I didn't have my medical cards and this really set them off. I came back the next day with my cards and they were able to process them. I have a procedure scheduled but may cancel that and find another medical group to get my procedure done there. The doctor was more normal buy I am undecided...
AVOID THIS PLACE, i was lied to and was told that i couldn’t book appointments with any place besides them and they tried to cancel my appointment at the other branch… i suspect due to lack of business thats the reason this branch always has open appointments. I recommend waiting since the staff here don’t care, ive seen 2 doctors that wanted to argue rather than try to help. Tell me why Dr.Steven Park couldn’t even suggest a nutritionist and hes a licensed gastroenterologist??? Unprofessional and useless
