I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mom was in CareOne at New Milford. The facility appeared nicer before you got up to the rooms. The doorknobs on the closets were broken, the toilet was clogged up, and it took hours for them to come in and unclog it. My mother was soiled every time I got there. I think they're short-handed for the number of patients they have. As soon as the elevator door opened you would smell feces and urine.

I am/was a resident of this facility I have been a resident at several different rehabs and this was absolutely the worst. Rooms were dirty, toilets always over flowing. The staff offered little quality care, taking up to an hour to answer a bell when assistance was needed. I was told I it would have to be an emergency in order to get the nurse back onto the unit. What is an emergency? I inquired.... Was told I would have to be on the floor or in respiratory distress. Do yourself and your family a favor... Go somewhere else!

They never answer patients' Requests. I was with my father in law for two weeks in Care One. I had to ask the staff to shower him as they should but they tend to ignore. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I found this place to be an administrative nightmare. Phone messages requesting a call back were ignored. I could not get them to fill out a simple insurance form despite multiple requests from myself and the insurance company. In desperation I called staff members in different departments looking for help. They did try to help but it eventually took a call to Corporate Headquarters to get final resolution. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident This place is not what it used to be. Huge staff turnover, without proper training for new hires. Do your research. After repeat stays my dad says he'll never go back there again.
I am/was a resident of this facility The 11-7 nurses from third floor come to second floor and it sounds like their having a party how do they expect sick people to rest and the supervisor is with them.
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I would not recommend this place. My father had a leaking catheter and their solution was to place a towel under it. My father would get an infection which would lead to another infection that killed him a week or two later. No doctors are on the premises during weekends or holidays. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident This place is horrible. Mom came here from JFK Neurological Institute. Good Lord. 1 or 2 patient care staff are good, everyone else is missing in action all the time. Mom pressed the red nurse call button to get help going to the bathroom and to prevent another fall. It took someone 13 minutes and 14 seconds to show up. Please do not send anyone here.

When he came home he was black and blue all over. Of course no one could explain. Not only that he had his wedding band on his finger for over 65 years never once took it off and someone decided they wanted this ring and literally tore it off his finger.
