I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Horrible experience for my family. We since moved my father and he's doing better in 3 days than he did in 23 days in care one. He lost 20 or more pounds during his stay. The communication between them and us was slim to none. My father was ignored most of the time. One night he wandered outside in the pouring rain and the doors locked behind him. No one from the facility notified us or provided an incident report. So many more issues that I could be here all day writing!!... read more
I visited this facility Food was terrible. Never had what I requested and always served Luke warm to cold.. Some nurses not capable... Gave me wrong meds, if I was not aware of it, that is a scary thing, especially due to most patients not capable of keeping track. Took 10 days to get a box of tissues !!!!! They were out of them!!!! Would not recommend the therapy , occupational or physical. Not organized at all . I felt I was kept there just to collect my insurance money... WOULD NOT recommend this facility whatsoever ...
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident There are some good, dedicated staff. But there is a number of staff that seem like they don't care. They overmedicated my father to keep him immobile & easier to care for. Very little rehab. They sat him in a chair (strapped in at times) or kept him in bed all day. I witnessed no activites despite a schedule posted in the wall. It was a waste of time & my father never recovered mobility.

The place is understaffed, management cares more about window dressing than the care that is provided. Staff does not give medication as prescribed by PCP. The only doctors "on staff" - they only come a couple of times a week - are geriatric doctors. So if you are here for rehab and not a senior, be aware!! I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mother was there for five weeks. During that time period, either my brother or I made sure that we were with her every day. We were disgusted with the gross negligence of the staff. My mom's doctor changed her medication, and the nurses would not give it to her. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My father was at Care One - Hanover Township in March of 2016. We opted for this location due to the proximity to our home which is 1 mile away. From day one, we found neglect, and poor attention to patients. Our family was with our father for most of his 20 days at this facility and we know we helped to improve his stay. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Let me tell you that this facility is the worst I've ever seen. Just the smell alone is horrible. But the patient care is almost non-existent. Medicines were given late and sometime, different medicine was given that were not prescribed. A relative of mine, who is not an alzheimer's patient, or elderly, was there for about a month. From the horrible Administrator on down, five star Medicare my behind! A neighbor of mine went there for rehab after breaking her elbow in a fall. A few weeks later, she died!!! Any facility that has "CareOne" in front of it, should be avoided at all costs!
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident This place is HORRIBLE, very dirty, staff and nurses are very rude and uncareing. To say this place is a medical facility is a untrue statement. They left my mother in the bathroom for hours at a time. My sister had to tend to my mothers needs ,as far as cleaning her up after accidents.
