I visited this facility ALERT-I was admitted to this facilty on 2/2/2017, after having total knee replacement at holy name hospital,have to say the worst experience ,upon my admittance, i was assigned a Dr.Schwartz never came to see me for my duration there,who does this,the night before my discharge at 10 pm woken up from my sleep,here comes the so called Dr Schwartz,who makes rounds at 10 pm checks my chest and that was the extent of his examination,did not even check my wound,the food was horrible,the physical therapist b... read more
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident This place was amazingly poor. You hear about elder care facilities typically being like this, but I witnessed this for myself and was amazed. My parent was here to recover from a respiratory condition. Sadly, over the month that he was there, he and others would ring the bell for help, and no one would come for at least 20 minutes. Other They referred a client to our assisted living facility. Despite having screened her before she moved, we did not know - and CareOne did not tell us - that she had a serious psychological disorder and was violent. CareOne certainly knew this, but did not tell us - she seemed nonviolent b/c she was drugged into lethargy there. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I was a health care proxy for my relative at this facility. I would never recommend Redstone based on the care. Five hours after admission, my relative had not yet received required medication. Another person's personal belongings, including medication and house keys inside a bag, were on her chair with her belongings. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident CareOne Cranbury Rd was recommended by my fathers doctor. My father was very ill with congestive heart failure recovering from surgery. My father was mistreated by an evening attendant witnessed by a room mate resulting in the separation of the attendant. The facility is filthy, not dirty, filthy. I am/was a resident of this facility I wish there were less than one star. This place is terrible. It is a pretty prison where people are treated like objects rather than human beings. In 4 days my room was moved three times. Call bells are not answered in a timely manner. I waited over an hour for a needed breathing treatment. Residents who can not fend for themselves are lost. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mother was here for Rehab recently. It was TERRIBLE! The staff walks around miserable, the food is not good and there is a dining room but not open, you have to eat in your room for ALL meals.. The nurses seemed annoyed when asked for something and took, and took a long time to answer my mothers call bell. It is also old looking and somewhat depressing. I took her home earlier than expected with home care, which worked out much better for both of us.
I am/was a resident of this facility I had a really bad experience at the last rehab place I went to. It’s called New Bedford Health Care Center. I almost died there. I got MRSA after my surgery, my temperature was up, and I had brown fluid coming out of my back, and they weren’t doing anything about it. My daughter called a doctor in Boston, and they sent an ambulance. I don’t even remember my experience of even going there; I was so toxic. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mother went into Care One in Teaneck with high hopes of getting back to where she was physically before a short stint in the hospital. Worst decision we could have made! She was there for an entire week before being seen by a doctor. During the first night she rang the alarm to go to the bathroom but no one came in and she had to go on her own...without the use of a walker because she was not given one yet.
