My mom lives at Care One Hamilton Mom was reluctant to move from her home She gave me a fight but I knew she needed more help I was very happy on how quick the move in process went Since she has been there I am more at ease her nurses keep me updated on all issues She loves her aides that come and help her She told me the one is so sweet she smiles so bright it makes mom feel good She loves the food She will choose what activities she wants to go to there is always a party live music lots of fun ! My parent has been living at Hamilton care one for few years The food is delicious The activities staff are very pleasant I think more activities would be great especially after supper to host a activity Nurses are the best The new Wellness Director [name removed] To be honest she comes off very defensive. Administration is very rude.. I tried to tell the administrator of a problem that arose during my fathers care and she said quote ‘’ not my fault ‘’ and walked away. WOW.
We had an okay experience with this community. Unfortunately I did have to move my parents out, because their rates were getting to expensive. It is a well-kept community for the most part, but their room was always very cold. I just think they were not able to provide the level of care my parents needed.
When we toured the facility it was lovely. However when mom moved in it was a disaster. Mom didn't stay long because there was so much construction. The bus they had to take residents to activities was broken down. It was all very disappointing. Overall not satisfied.
