Dr Lapuente was very professional and kind. He seemed to be concerned and willing to find out what my issues were and to come up with a solution. He asked me several questions which was longer than the 5 mins my primary (civilian) doctor takes that was impressive. If I need to be seen again in his office I will prefer to be seen by Dr Lapuente
Dr. Gilchrist is absolutely wonderful! She takes the time to truly listen, explain everything in detail, and make sure her patients feel comfortable and cared for. Her professionalism and deep knowledge are matched by her kindness and compassion, which makes every visit a positive experience. In addition her staff is just as amazing and welcoming. My very first appointment, the dr. rushed through it. She talked so fast I had no clue what she was talking about. I had to have the nurse explain it. Messages through the patient portal go unanswered. Front desk check in gal looked miserable. No smile. No hello. Terrible first impression that left a bad taste in my mouth. I probably won't be returning for any follow up. Will seek another practice. BUT...YOUR NURSES WERE GREAT!
Finally somebody who understood exactly what I was going through. The allergy test was done efficiently and quickly and the results were immediate. Doctor and staff were proficient and accommodating. They talked to me and explained each step of the way. And gave me answers that I was looking for. I would recommend this place and doctor to anybody.
This was my first visit with Dr. Patel at Carolina Asthma and Allergy in Rock Hill. I appreciated his professionalism , beside manner, and clear communication in regards to the possible reasons for my allergy and the process of testing. It was helpful that he took notes during our discussion. Since my memory is not quite as good as it used to be, it was great to be able to take those notes home to review as needed.
