I was put into palliative care earlier this year because I was really ill and quarantined at home. No clue what palliative care does because they never really did anything for me over the last 6 months. Told me to take medicines or vitamins my doctor told me not to take. My aunt was very well taken care of during her respite stay. My family was in desperate need of help and Carolina Caring helped us after my aunt had a stoke and was unable to function. Every time I visited she was eating the amazing food and everyone was friendly.
Wonderful caring people. My mother has been in their care for almost a year and my father before that. Every single person i have met (doctors, nurses, staff, housekeeping, etc.) was exceptional and almost empathic. Anticipating my needs , answering questions, and gently caring for the whole family. A unique organization worthy of support and donations.
Said they were going to call me and update me on my mom’s condition and ghosted me and lied and I still don’t know why they never responded back to my text messages and they neglected me and my mother.
The Carolina Caring team was amazing, thoughtful, and kind. In the moments of fear, sadness, and confusion, they educated my family and provided comfort to not only our grandmother but to all of us. Although there was a language barrier at times, the staff patiently communicated with us. Also, Dr. Frankhouser was a great provider when it came to education and comforting our family during a difficult time.
