Carpetime was started in 1975 by Al & Lola Ledebur. Their son Mark moved to Grand Junction in 1999 and has since purchased the business. All three work in the business on a daily business, making it truly "Family owned and operated"! Carpetime handles almost all flooring, with the exception of jobsite finished hardwood. We are experienced in retail sales, property management, new home construction, and commercial projects. We worked with Nancy to select new carpets for our home and arrange installation. We LOVED working with Nancy. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, professional; she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the carpets we (finally, after much deliberation) chose. The installation team was great also--very timely, professional, and left everything looking pristine. We would absolutely choose Carpetime again and will recommend Carpetime (and Nancy in particular) to any friends/family looking to install new ca... read more
Mark was fantastic. He explained everything well. Helped me find what would work best for me and my budget. They were punctual and professional. Installation was flawless. Highly recommend.
Jenni was excellent in helping us choose the carpet right for us, getting the correct measurements, and getting us a referral. Our biggest concern was moving the furniture without damage to the furniture or walls. The installers, Rick & Justin did and excellent job. Carpet looks great and no scratches.

We were then told that 4 weeks was enough notice for scheduling/ordering materials. We waited until 4 weeks before the renovation date and whe... read more
My recently widowed 87 year old mom just spent almost $1000 at this store. She is on oxygen and she has a heart condition. The carpet is so unevenly and poorly put in she has tripped over it twice. The store contacted her today, even admitting that it was there fault, told her that there was nothing they would do. Considering that there slogan is that customer service satisfaction is there number 1 goal... this is not a way to run a business.
My recently widowed 87 year old mom spent almost $1000 at carpet time, Jeff came out and installed it. It is not laying flat, my mom is on oxygen and has a heart condition. The carpet is so bad that she has tripped on it twice. The company called her today and told her there was nothing they would do about it, even that they acknowledged that it was there fault. Do not shop here.
