We lived at Carriage Park Apartments in Pittsburgh (15220) and had the worst experience. When we first moved in, the management would beg us to leave good reviews, even before we’d fully settled in. That should’ve been a red flag. Throughout our stay, management was rude, unprofessional, and completely disrespectful. Every time we contacted them about important issues like our broken air conditioner or bug problems, they would yell at us or dismiss us. Pros: I love the apartment! Very convenient, spacious, the view, and how they set up carriage park like a community ❤️ Shout out to our lease agent, Tyler, for being hospitable and accommodating. 👍 Cons: some residents are not considerate. Trash are being left in the elevators, and at the back inside of the building. Vandalizing the elevators and walls at the main entrance (no ff up from the management.) Fix the elevators. They’ve been broken for months, and it’s not only unsafe but a complete waste of public resources. I was stuck inside and had to call the fire department to rescue me—time and manpower that should be used for real emergencies, not because management refuses to do basic maintenance. This is negligent, dangerous, and a disgrace to everyone paying to live here.
UPDATE: I was told that I was nitpicking by the property manager in the issues I pointed out with the highlighted roads to be worked on so the charge will not be dismissed. The email from the property manager was very dismissive, you will find that to be a trend at this property. Do not live here if you think you deserve proper attention and communication, if you don't care about any of that please enjoy the fees. DO NOT LIVE HERE. MANAGEMENT WILL CHARGE YOU FEES FOR FUN (I wish I was joking) Carriage park is doing parking lot repairs. MANAGEMENT sent out an email stating where to park and not park. We called MANAGEMENT to get clarification. They verbally confirmed that where we were parked, was in the clear. This confirmation was especially important because any cars in the wrong spots would be towed, at the owners expense.
