The doctors and staff at The Cat Hospital of Metairie are knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. They treat each patient and their family as part of The Cat Hospital family. My cat started going to the doctors at The Cat Hospital of Metairie when she was one year old and she is now 18! There have been a few changes in personnel, but not in the loving care my pet has received.
Came here for a second opinion after not feeling happy when leaving a different vet office. The entire office from the front desk to the doctor were helpful, empathetic, and thorough. I would absolutely recommend cat owners to utilize this facility for the health and overall wellness of their pets. I plan on bringing the rest of my cats here to ensure they have the most updated health exam. I brought my cat, Daffodil, into the Cat Hospital when she was losing significant weight and vomiting constantly. I decided on the Cat Hospital because they are cat-only (duh) and I knew we needed special care. Scheduling our first appointment was simple and the receptionist was very kind. She offered recommendations for who we could see, but we ultimately decided to see Dr. Allen, as she had the soonest availability and I was so worried about my poor kitty. At another practice in town, we experienced awful, expensive care. A friend recommended the Cat Hospital of Metairie. Our visit was such a joy and relief. They restored my faith that as my cat enters her elder years she will receive the best care and attention she deserves.
I have been taking my cats for decades to The Cat Hospital. Dr Miller is the most dedicated vet you will ever find. She knows her business. Very good with her patients. The staff are all helpful and friendly. They too are all dedicated to their jobs.
