I have had some really bad experiences with the south office. Scheduler is rude. Called last Friday to cancel an appointment I had for Monday. Was told she didn’t have time to check messages. Also was told I’d have to wait until the 3rd week in August. This is a 5 min appointment to get a referral to my eye surgeon for cataract surgery. I had an extremely disappointing experience with the receptionist at this doctor's office. Not only were they rude and unprofessional over the phone, but they also repeatedly cut off my calls by placing me on hold without explanation. It's concerning that a medical facility entrusted with sensitive patient information employs such incompetent staff to handle patients. I really love the doctors here,the front office staff at this location is not very friendly,makes very snarky comments if you are a Medicaid patient, doesn't look at your current history and likes to be degraded to in front of a full lobby. I was recently banned from this practice because I requested a Rx(prescribed on previous visit w/o issue) on Thursday and Friday before Memorial Day. I had standing appointment for following Tues. but I couldn't wait. When I inquired about who/why rx wasn't called in on Tues, the recp said she had record of both calls but no notes!
