They have absolutely no security cameras on patients or staff. It is dangerous for both parties. They will be reported to the state. I watched a patient attack people over eight times. I personally had to restrain him twice. I watched scared young adults that had anxiety and depression issues enter into an environment that was absolutely toxic. I did my best to try to protect them from it for the duration of my stay there and there's some people there that I'm still worried about. I am going to compile the police reports for... read more

The staff here has absolutely no compassion for their patients, during intake they constantly preach as a voluntary intake you’re free to go whenever you’d like, but is an absolute lie. There is absolutely ZERO structure. Arrived there at 9am and was told I had a guaranteed bed, however did not actually have a bed or “tour” until 3pm (6 hours after actually arriving.) If you love your family member, or want to get help for yourself please go to any other facility in Missouri besides this one IT WILL FAIL YOU. Edit to respo... read more

The number of staff(nurses, etc) that seem so inexperienced is very discouraging for anyone thinking this is professional help. Asking simple questions to staff, they can not answer, they will point you in the direction of someone who "knows more" but then they point in another direction of another person that "knows more" than them, and so on and so fourth. Nurses were sick, not wearing gloves or masks and COUGHING in their hands while handing out medicine. Some doctors wore high heels! Men and women are on the same unit. T... read more

If you care about someone, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. I was admitted by my parents as punishment. I did not want to hurt myself or anyone else. I suffered for a week. There were usually 4 or 5 fights a day, and as someone with trauma-related PTSD these were horrible for me to endure. I would have to find a corner to hide in. If you talked about your problems, no one cared. If you asked for assistance, you were ignored. We were just shuffled from one room to another all day. This place gave me worse PTSD. This is not a mental hea... read more

I was a self admitted inpatient there for the last 5 days. I personally saw techs on their personal cell phones in patient areas, scrolling social media and posting. This is against HIPPA rules. I saw a discharge capture conduct 3 discharged interviews with patients in the open dayroom, with other patients present. I overheard every detail on one such interview, including address, wife's name, kids, schedules, diagnosis, medications and where he would get aftercare and where he would pick up his meds. I asked to sign myself ... read more
