i was 16 or 17 when i stayed here.. about to b 23 now, it was a good experience. was there for about 2 weeks. they treated me like family. i was happier there than i’d been in my own home at the time.
"I was confined to your facility for 23 days. During my stay, I observed that Robert Marsh, the CEO, declined to engage in a conversation with me, citing that it would be ‘inappropriate’ for him to do so. Interestingly, other doctors routinely meet with patients in the same room for privacy. Additionally, I noticed that there were several interpersonal relationships between Mr. Marsh and employees, and the staff demographic was predominantly white. Was just in this facility never take your family there the Dr C.J or whatever over medicates false diagnosis your family tried putting me on insane meds to the point my mother had to threaten legal action for me to be let out I fear for anyone in that place do NOT send your family here unless you want them to be falsely diagnosed and over medicated. This place is awful genuinely how is a child in America supposed to get mental health care without being in serious debt. $4,288. For Two extra days that insurance didn’t cover although the hospital made me stay the Two extra days. Insurance only covers five. $504 dollars for an ambulance ride that they forced me to have even tho I was not in a horrible state an ambulance ride just so they could bill us more money. $507 for the five days of the psychiatrist visits that they forced upon you and would make you stay more days i... read more
Update: I went and signed her out early on Saturday the lack of communication and the lack of knowledge from anybody in there is mind bottling to me however I will say they were able to diagnose her and get her on medication that seems to be doing well and they've helped her be able to calm herself so I will say that's a plus however I am just floored by the things she has told me they have some children there as young as 6 years old that have no mental disabilities other than they are on the autism spectrum and have ADH... read more
