This place sucks the first time I went in to cash a cashiers check from my father. But couldn't cash it be it was already signed. These people told me that I needed to signed it in there presence. I was pissed off. What does it matter if I do it or not in front of them. ICE should pay them a visit.
BEWARE! This place is nothing but a scam. ICE NEEDS TO COME TO THIS LOCATION. NO REASON YOU SHOULD BE ASKING PEOPLE FOR THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD. I don’t know what type of games the employees are trying to play. Especially the young Spanish female working 03/24/2025 at 4:45PM. Went straight to PLS and they took my drivers license and cashed my check. Never provide this location with your Social Security Cards
My wallet was stolen and I needed to cash my check. There is no law that I can’t sign it over to someone else to cash, but their policy says I can’t. I called before going down there and was told to bring in any form of identification. I brought in medical records scanned in copies of my license, Social Security card, birth certificate, including a photo ID from an organization. I swear I hate this area this is the only place I go to that has a problem doing what other businesses do with no poblem. Any other town I go to Arlington I go to Cambridge, chelsea. I go somewhere else in Boston I have no problem I come to this check cashing place and there's always a freaking problem because the people around here are either doing scams or just trying to survive I don't know who I'm more mad at the system or the people! can't even cash $160 check because I signed it Are you kidding me aren't you supposed ... read more
Unbelievably inconsistent!!! When trying to receive your money through Western Union your allowed to answer a test question between the sender and receiver. But this location has its own set of rules. So I came in again a few weeks later with Mass driver's license and the miserable, woman behind the counter said my name on my license and the name my own brother wrote down did not match. Really? This woman does everything in her power to not help people....Why are you there if you don't want to help people? Ohh. She wants eat... read more
