Myself along with a group of about 8 people stood outside waiting to be let in. It was 9:30, we had waited outside for 30 mins, the door was open but she did not come out to make it aware that they were open. Very wild I think to see a group of folks standing at the front of your store clearly waiting to be allowed in and you just sit there. I had to call the store from outside to verify that they were in fact open. Disappointing considering this is the only check cashing place currently in Mount Vernon.
It’s just a horrible experience, I’ve been standing up outside of this particular location for the last 40 minutes, it’s advertised on the door that opens at 8:15 a.m., no one is coming to the door. No one is giving any energy like this is an actual business looking to service customers. I’m disgusted. I have seen at least seven people come here and either walk away upset or verbally express their disregard. Sorry, this Mount Vernon location is horrible for business, the community, and morale.
I arrived Sunday morning at 10:00 am . The sign says 9:00 on Sundays and they are still not open. This is ridiculous this is not the first time I have come and they were not open on time. This has got to stop It's like the business just opens when it feels like it
Thurs., June 3rd, 18:45 (6:45 p.m.) Denied check-cashing service by CFSC's clerk, Jacob. Was told, after a show of frustrated facial expressions, to "Come back tomorrow." Inquired why to which he rudely replied: "we never did business with them." Baffled, I pressed for more info, which he rudely replied: I don't know, . . . we don't know who they are! Only has 1 person working in a highly utilized area. Lines are always long and transactions, especially Western Union take forever. They need to hire more people to serve the community they're in. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever for this business to operate like it does.
