I have been cashing checks with this company for over a decade! Came to this Fox Lake location a few times as well. For some reason today I came in with a check from asurion.... Which is a worldwide consumer insurance company and for some reason I had to be questioned and my check had to be called in to a supervisor for approval. This unfortunately is the closest currency exchange by me. I rarely have to use a currency exchange. I try to avoid this one when I do. The staff is unfriendly. You walk in and they just stare at you. God forbid you try to cash a legit check for a high amount, good luck! Everyone other currency can verify it/authorize it but this place, no! Save yourself the headache and just go to the DMV for vehicle titles. We purchased a brand new trailer last year and the employee put the wrong make/manufacture on the form. After receiving the title and noticing the error, we went back to the currency exchange to discuss. They advised they could not select the correct manufacture in their system so they choose from one they could. They said we would then need to go to the DMV to get it fixed. Con artists offered me less than 50 percent value and was trying to charge a 40 percent conversion fee. Don't go here it is a scam plain and simple. Was offered 100 dollars for 270 Canadian. Just a joke like this business
