This is not the first time that my wife and I have had the pleasure of eating at Chama Gaucha-San Antonio. The salad bar is to die for with all of the freshest veggies that you can eat. And of course the remaining dinner items are so delicious and juicy. The variety of meats is beyond comparison and delivered to your table fresh from the fire. Not only do they have the freshest meat available but it is always cooked to your desire palate. I will be returning again and again.
We were greated and seated within moments of arrival. The staff was very attentive and friendly and provided excellent service. The salad bar was fully stocked, clean and fresh. The food was amazing as always and the atmosphere was pleasant. It was a little loud, but no more than to be expected from a busy restaurant. We are very satisfied with the quality and service and will definitely be back.
Our go to for special occasions- food is always excellent, service is attentive but unobtrusive
It was amazing our waiter was the best. They really are very attentive and they don’t let you sit there guessing or wondering what to do or who’s going to help us. They really care about your first time experience and any occasion that you may be celebrating. Getting a complementary dessert for our anniversary just made us feel so special and like they truly cared. 10 out of 10. Will make sure to recommend any family and friends to go.
A very good Brazilian style steakhouse, certainly superior to the larger chains. However, not quite a five-star experience. Never had all of the meat offering served at our table, really only half of the 14 items they said were available. And I could have skipped the sausage - tasted like supermarket Polish kielbasa. But all of the beef was excellent, pork ribs were good, lamb was very good, and we also enjoyed the desserts and the table-side drinks cart (the flaming house coffee cocktail was terrific.) Our family loves the quality of service. And the food is always great, from the salad bar, the Picanha,rib eye, filet Mignon,costela, Fraldinha. To the best deserts And great wines.
The food, ambiance and service was impeccable as always.
I'm submitting this commentary just once, My waiter (I forgot to get his name), was simply OUTSTANDING. The food, all around, was superb. It was a bit dark in there however, I get the purpose behind such practice. Overall experience, great value and great service and food I will return as often I deem I am welcomed!
Unequivocally the best of the best in San Antonio Churascarias. I would rather walk across hot coals than eat at any other. My plate was always loaded with tasty meats seared to perfection. Although the food is the best, it’s the service is what makes this place what it is. Try it. You’ll see.
