This was a horrible experience!! Second guy was much nicer
I have a lot to say. I've already called Champion Windows. I have a water leak. They were supposed to leave touch up paint. They didn't. I have screws missing out of window latches that don't lock. A door that doesn't lock. I have gobs of caulk left on my brick not related to this, that was put on by the installers. I have screw holes partially drilled. I have screw holes drilled on top of each other. The bronze-clad foam panel is dented, which could have only been done as it was installed or by their ladder when they caulke... read more
The salesman was great but you're really at the mercy of the installation crew they hire. After ordering windows and siding there are still parts of my house that weren't re-sided. Nobody from Champion actually checked on the installation crew or confirmed the work once completed.
One of the door seals was damaged on installation, part was ordered but it has been over a month and no one has come out to replace it, I called a week and a half ago to schedule it and nothing back yet. Second issue, some of the Aluminum framing is bent and needs to be corrected. Third Issue is the door lock cylinder came out in my hand after the second time I used it, again some one came out and said they were ordering it, nothing yet and I called to check on that also.
