I visited Dr. Keller with a couple of concerns and he took them very seriously, to the point where he immediately ordered tests for further diagnostics that day. He took plenty of time to talk with me about what I have going on in life and gave me several bits of useful advice. I was very happy with my visit and plan to work with him again.
Dr. Keller was a Substitute Dr. at Ankeny North. I requested refills for Blood Pressure and Depression/Anxiety Medication and since I was past due by 10 days for a Metabolic Panel (Check my Blood Sugar) he would only fill the Blood Pressure Medication for a few days and Denied the Depression Medication. Neither of the medications have anything to do with Blood sugar levels. My husband had Dr.Keller as a doctor, we couldn't get call backs, couldn't schedule appointments, he is spread too thin and doesn't want patients who are not healthy. So when my husband became diabetic he got a letter stating he would need to get another doctor. My husband brought his A1-C down from 9.0 to 5.3. So he listens to what the doctor said a followed it. So, if you see Dr.Keller remain healthy or find someone new.
