TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This place is great! Seriously!! You walk in and right away you notice it's clean, the staff is super friendly and more than helpful. G is the man too!! Great guy! Dave's is lucky to have someone like him upfront taking care of business and the customers! You order your food and hardly any wait. I got the reaper tenders platter so i had to sign the waiver. The hot chicken craze was an enigma to me but I totally get it now. I really love this place. We went once to check it out and now it’s something we always want and keep coming back. I always get the mild chicken and the flavor is unmatched. The sauce they give is you amazing too! I put it on all the things. The staff is super nice too and that’s surprising for a fast food place. Our first time the cashier was being very helpful. Now we’re pros. I literally tell everyone to check this place out.
Dave's Hot Chicken - Cherry Hill - Great hot chicken! The two slider meal was a great amount of food. Comes with fries, and some extra pickles. The sandwich has pickles and slaw. Great flavor (had the medium and the hot) the medium was perfect as you can still taste the delicious chicken and have the great spicy flavors. The cauliflower is absolutely insanely delicious!! Drool worthy. The fries are really good and Dave’s sauce is way better than Cane’s in my opinion. Plus, the staff were all super sweet. The place is nice and clean….I’ll definitely be back.
This was my second time eating at Dave’s and won’t be my last. The cashier that assisted me was unreal! I am truly grateful for Daemon’s assistance. He went truly above and beyond to make my experience incredible! I wish there was a better way to acknowledge how amazing he is. The bun for the slider is incredible!! The slice of bread included with the tender is not very good. I wish they provided a bread similar to the slider. The chicken is delicious but the bun certainly put the meal over the top.
