This is a food truck parked at Porky's Backyard on Atascocita Road in Atascocita/Humble/Kingwood area. Although this truck is in Texas, the food is definitely Hawaiian/Polynesian. I had the ribs and the flavor was excellent. My favorite part of the meal was the macaroni salad, which was the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this family run food truck and give a shout out to Chief Tama and his ohana!
This place is great, and they have awesome customer service. I lived in Oahu for a long time and have tried many places in different states that serve "Hawaiian" food. So far, I have only found 3 places in the mainland I would recommend, and this is one of them. Can't wait to get some more Kalua Pork and spam musubi!
Everyone was so friendly and helpful - it made the ordering process so easy. We had the Huli Huli BBQ chicken, which was delicious. It came with white rice and macaroni salad - what a perfect combination. The Kalbi short ribs were awesome, they were so tasty. This dish also came with white rice and macaroni salad. Both dishes had good portions of delicious food - I would recommend this place. Get there early, because the lines can get long.
I always get the Island Combo, Huli Huli Chicken and Short Ribs! I keep telling myself to try the Katsu Chicken, but I just can't resist my usual.
I wanted to try the shoyu chicken but that is a special on Wed only so I got the kalbi ribs huli huli chicken and the pineapple pork ribs, todays special. They DO NOT DISAPPOINT! IT WAS DELICIOUS and I loved the Mac salad!! Wished Id known they have lumpia! Haven't made that in so long now I'm craving it😂🤤 maybe next time i stay or I'll drive the 2 hours on s Monday with my husband to visit!! Mahalo!!
