I drove over an hour to check out Chuck’s Boots, expecting a solid selection and helpful service, but the experience was really disappointing. From the moment I walked in, the staff came off as dismissive and talked down to me like I didn’t know anything about boots. I would have rated the store higher, but I had an encounter with a male employee. When I asked him which shoe looked better, he told me to "go have a woman tell me." Initially, I thought he was joking so I laughed but then he ignored my follow-up. Thankfully, two female staff members were happy to assist me with their opinions. I believe that when working with customers, it shouldn't matter whether someone is a man or a woman; everyone can provide valuable feedback. I purchased a pair of keen work boots on May 8/2026. About twenty days ago. I’ve been in construction for 32 years now and these are the only boots I just could not break in. When I called the store they asked if I had worn them outside, I replied yes seeing as how they are work boots. Eventually talked to the manager and he said that since I had worn the work boots outside I would not be able to exchange them. After finding some hiking boots here that I loved, I talked my husband into giving them a try. His foot is very wide and hard to find shoes for. Chuck’s Boots has lots of 2E (wide) options and a good number 4E (extra wide) options. An employee helped us hunt down a pair of 6E (EXTRA extra wide,) which worked perfectly. Thank you so much!

I came in 3 years ago to buy a pair of work boots and Richaed helped me out. Today 3 years late I came in to buy a pair of personal boots and richard remembered me. The team here is so helpful they go above and beyond for you. Sean was also veryful gave me good tips and made sure I got the size that fit perfecr for me! Would 100 perfect refer anyone here. If you come in ask for Richard they guy really knows his stuff
