I drove over an hour to check out Chuck’s Boots, expecting a solid selection and helpful service, but the experience was really disappointing. I would have rated the store higher, but I had an encounter with a male employee. When I asked him which shoe looked better, he told me to "go have a woman tell me." Initially, I thought he was joking so I laughed but then he ignored my follow-up. Thankfully, two female staff members were happy to assist me with their opinions. I purchased a pair of keen work boots on May 8/2026. About twenty days ago. I’ve been in construction for 32 years now and these are the only boots I just could not break in. When I called the store they asked if I had worn them outside, I replied yes seeing as how they are work boots. Eventually talked to the manager and he said that since I had worn the work boots outside I would not be able to exchange them. Today was my first time ever in this store. This store was phenomenal. I was looking for a certain style boot and was approached by an employee. I believe she told me her name was Cheyanne. She was a tremendous help and showed me a great selection of boots. Very professional and very helpful. Thank you for your assistance. I recommend this store to anyone.
