I took the Landmarks Cruise and it turned out to be one of the best ways to see NYC from the water. Boarding was easy, the staff handled everything well and the boat had enough space to enjoy the views comfortably. The route gives you clear shots of the skyline, bridges and major landmarks. With good weather, the views look even better than expected. It’s simple, well organized and perfect for anyone who wants a quick but complete look at the city.
The Circle Line cruise is a NYC institution, operating since 1945. It offers a unique, panoramic perspective of the city's world-famous landmarks from the rivers that surround Manhattan. One of my favorite parts of our NYC trip! Even on an 80 degree day, the top deck had a nice breeze and was very comfortable. We got beautiful views of the buildings and awesome photo ops with the Statue of Liberty as well! We did the express tour which was perfect timewise as we had a short trip and a lot to pack into two days. Highly recommend! Our tour guide Debbie also gave funny and entertaining commentary throughout the trip!
Great experience! Perfect way to see the Big Apple, Statue and Brooklyn Bridge from the water. Debby, the narrator, did a great job in providing the info in a positive way. And......big THANKS for the pretzel upon leaving the boat....just what i needed :)
Please read this: the only annoying part of this cruise was the other passengers not listening. Seriously — just sit down. The crew rotates the boat so everyone gets a great view, but some people were running around, standing on chairs in the wind and rain, ignoring every safety reminder. Don’t be that person. That said, the tour guide was fantastic — knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about what they do.
