This was probably one of if not the best experience... Granted it was busy, very busy and us getting there early turned out to be a very good idea. The open deck filled up very quickly, probably because of the weather. The guide himself was very enthusiastic and chatty and gave a great insight to all the sights with facts and info. Absolutely loved this! Decided to do it an hour ish before it left. Got down to Pier 16 and used our Go City pass to purchase the tickets! Line wasn’t too long. The boat had plenty of seats. We sat up top on the outside until the Statue passed and then came inside to warm up. Debbie was our guide and was very funny. One of the highlights of our New York trip!
Great experience! Perfect way to see the Big Apple, Statue and Brooklyn Bridge from the water. Debby, the narrator, did a great job in providing the info in a positive way. And......big THANKS for the pretzel upon leaving the boat....just what i needed :)
I took the Landmarks Cruise and it turned out to be one of the best ways to see NYC from the water. Boarding was easy, the staff handled everything well and the boat had enough space to enjoy the views comfortably. The route gives you clear shots of the skyline, bridges and major landmarks. With good weather, the views look even better than expected. It’s simple, well organized and perfect for anyone who wants a quick but complete look at the city.
Please read this: the only annoying part of this cruise was the other passengers not listening. Seriously — just sit down. The crew rotates the boat so everyone gets a great view, but some people were running around, standing on chairs in the wind and rain, ignoring every safety reminder. Don’t be that person.
