Was here for a bike event with friends That one of the desk staff put a person who requested to be near me right next door. I felt like my privacy was invaded. The comfort of the bed and how clean the room was
Disappointing
Fair The floors were dirty and found hair in the bathroom and on the toilet. I know it is an old casino but it feels run down
It seems like every time we come to Reno, and it’s a cherished trip for us, as we meet in the middle, from San Diego and It’s sad to see all of the places to eat, not really having pride in their food, or one time you really like a restaurant and the next time you stay, that restaurant is gone. Always loved the buffets, as you can get as little or as much as you want. But there hasn’t been one since COVID. You get what you pay for, clearly we didn't pay for much The rooms around us were loud and disruptive in the early am, with thin walls I could hear all their commotion which meant a sleepless night; the smell /smoke of their weed even made it into our room, not great for the asthmatics among us. It wouldn't have been so terrible if the in-room coffee maker actually worked or the room's mini fridge kept temperature so that my cold items hadn't spoiled. Disappointing They were under maintenance, no escalators open, small signs to give direction to check in and around hotel. The TV didn’t work well, the neighbors remote also changed the channels. Location.
Money hungry The hotel is money hungry. It's their right to be and I have the right to choose a different hotel next visit. They wanted $28 to check in 45 minutes early. We just waited. Then checking in the staff informed me they put us in a very inconvenient room location and wanted $22 to put us in a better room location. I'm glad to see how they value their customers. Won't stay or reccomend this place to anyone. Room was fine and aircon worked well
