Chelsea apologized profusely for the call center lack of follow up, and pleasantly served me quickly and very efficiently. I am always thankful for the service we get at Citadel and wish we had started here sooner.

Best CU in the world, bar none. Opened my account with them in the late 90's, kept them even after moving to Texas. My very first credit card is with them,15 years later that card is still my favorite and my APR still the original 7.24%, with a very generous credit line. The closest other offer another (major) bank gave me was 11.99 with a smaller credit limit. Citadel is not my primary bank. I was charged excessive fees and even after paying balance of credit cards which values usually under $100 still managed to accumulate random fees which forced me to stop using my card. Only to have an additional fee added after all transactions where paid and receive a late notice on my credit report. I tried to speak to the bank but didn't do any good. Stay away from them.

been a satisfied customer for about 2 years after my bank teller, timiyah boggs changed from fulton bank to citadel credit union. now since i no longer have a vehicle, i have no way to get there without money for transportation or food. now what an i suppose to do ? no money, no transportation and no food either. w.t.f?

After more than 20 years of being a loyal customer of Citadel FCU I am moving my accounts. Their recent changes in on line banking and credit card processing has many difficulties and irregularities.

This is a tough update for me to do since I have had such a long-term relationship with Citadel from one coast to the other. I've had offers to change financial institutions out here, but I always thought, 'why would I?' When Citadel sent out a message a couple years ago about updating their look, etc. I admit I was a little nervous because I feel places do this kind of thing before merging or bringing something completely different to the company, and that is not always a good thing. I recommend using another Credit Union. Citadel Credit Union does not participate in the local ATM system. To withdrawal money from your account you must go to a branch office or selected drug store. WAWA has fee free ATMs, they don't charge for withdraws but Citadel does. This is very inconvenient and costly.

I know with the pandemic service can be sketchy sometimes, but Citadel has really gone downhill. They're close to being completely useless. At least a few of the ladies I've worked with were pleasant. That's the only reason I gave 2 stars. Long story short, I have fraudulent charges on my account. I go in person today, the girl was very nice, gave me my new debit card, changed my pin etc... but she can't remove the charges. (I spent close to an hour in person today). After having this bank for over 10 years, while simultaneously experiencing what it's like to be a member of other banks that are helpful, easy-to-use and honest, I can't help but write a scathing review. I've never given a 1-star review for a company before, but I think this 1-star is well-deserved. Citadel is not clear enough about what service charges are coming through on accounts.
