I deposited a check In my account which was bigger than my normal amount that I deposit, but none the less I deposit checks in this account every week. They put a hold on the check until 12/24/25 the check was deposited on 12.10/25. I called to see what was the issue they told me I need to provide them documentation about how I got that check now this is 48 hrs after the check was deposited. I had a great experience with the Reps inside the branch. They were able to help me deposit my payment towards my auto loan. I minus the 2 stars based off the ATM in the drive through. I tried to make a cash deposit (several different times)after hours since I was in the area and wanted to be able to pay my loan. This has been the only bank/credit union I wasn't able to make a cash deposit through the ATM which to me is an inconvenience. I hope they get this sorted but from other people I know its an on going problem.
I DO NOT recommend Citadel for Auto Loans. They do not allow you to make additional payments toward principle during the payback period. You can only pay the full principle off at anytime otherwise all additional payments get applied toward future payments and NOT toward the principal. There is NO option to pay any additional funds toward Principal online or in person. Was going to open a new account at Citadel in Warminster; tried to call the branch and their direct phone number is not published. Called the main number for customer service and got a foreigner who barely spoke English, asked her to connect me to the branch. She couldn't find the branch and didn't know what I wanted and finally thought that I did not want my money in a place that doesn't give out phone numbers of the branch and does not have local people answering the phone.
