If I could give this place a negative billion stars I would. From the lack of communication between not only staff and each other but also between staff and members of patients families. Calls, messages, requests for return calls went unanswered. Everyday it was a different excuse as to why my mother did not have her medical supplies such as C-Pap machine as well as pain medications for several illnesses including those that are terminal. Our grandpa was there for his legs/health & Crystal Pak was assigned to make his stay comfortable. & thats exactly what she did! She was very attentive and would constantly check up on him. She spoke with the family about how she can be a further help and she was always great to turn to if we had any questions. His wing/unit was nice & the nurses took great care of. Thank you!

My grandma was admitted for physical therapy and she absolutely loved her time there. She looked forward to doing activities, the food was really good and the meals were varied, and the CNAs, nurses and other staff were so nice. I think she actually misses it there the way she talks about it now. Highly recommended!

My grandpa has been a long term resident for over two years now. It took him some time to feel comfortable but now he feels like it’s home. He is a picky eater and they are really good at giving him snacks he will actually eat. He enjoys walking the halls, when I visit he tells me stories about Activity Aids walking with him and talking to him. That always makes his day. It’s nice knowing there are people looking out for him when family can’t be around.

In September of 2024 we had to put my mother in Citadel. Upon the tour was a clean and nice place. However I am glad that I lived close by and was able to visit often. I had to remind them to shower her twice weekly which is protocol. Body wash was lost, medication was lost and once she went to hospice her food was minimal. Sadly my mother only lasted two months before passing away.
