He wanted to give his brand new barber shop the look of a salon, but the feel of a barber shop. Just had one of the best haircuts of my life at City Image Barbershop in Ridgewood. Ricky is an absolute pro super attentive, detail-oriented, and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. You can tell he takes real pride in his craft. The shop itself is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the vibe is always on point. Highly recommend booking with Ricky if you’re looking for a top-tier cut and a great experience from start to finish!
I’ve been going to Ricky for at least five years now and I have had a good amount of barbers in the past but he is hands down the best barber I have ever had. Not only is his talent of cutting hair tremendous, he is also just a good genuine person. I couldn’t recommend a better barber.

I have been getting my hair cut by Ricky for a while now and I would not trust anyone else with my hair. He is a great barber who really listens to what you want and offers expert advice when needed. If he thinks something might not work he is honest about it but never pushy, just solid professional guidance. I first started going to him at the Mahwah location and when he moved I had no hesitation following him. The quality of the cut and the experience he provides make it well worth it. Highly recommend!
