Great economic value ($52 per person for a two hour sail AND 3 drinks - wine champ, beer, soda water); great crew (3 women, one guy)), a bit of sailing knowledge and a great (NYC and New Jersey, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island) stage. Plus great weather (we phoned ahead for that!).

I have sailed with Classic Harbor for years and it just gets better! This time I took my small pooch which was such fun. Yacht Manhattan is intimate and the views are magnificent. I fell in love with the city all over again. The crew is phenomenal as well. Great way to wow visitors with a harbor cruise that is top notch. Check out the theme cruises that are unlike any of the competitors. The architecture cruise is so fascinating, learning about the buildings as we sail past.
I can't imagine a better way to enjoy New York than from the water and I also can't imagine a better company to do it with than Classic Harbor Line. The staff are excellent and really go the extra mile and their fleet are the perfect combination of charming and not too large. I wouldn't feel happy on one of those big plastic boats with 1000 people and rubber chicken dinners.
Our group of 10 went on the Schooner Adirondack Sunset Sail to celebrate a double 50th. Anniversary. Some of us needed a little help getting to the boat, as well as on and off. Some of us needed a lot! LOL The crew members were so helpful!! The cruise was wonderful! The beverage service, the interaction with the crew, the special attention to the children in our group (those enormous binoculars!) just added to the 100% per cent fabulous experience! Thank you!
I have been in other Manhattan cruises but this was by far the best. The boat (Manhattan 2) was a nice size and allowed for a more intimate experince. I would guess about 40 to 50 people maximum. It is an attractive, ckean, smooth riding tour. Leaving Chelsea Pier 62 and going down Hudson, around too and up East River. Then back with a wide swing coming very close to Statue of Liberty. Wonderful
The Best Day of the summer!! We had a great time and our guides were awesome!! I would recommend the Schooner cruise ⛵️ around the New York Harbor to anyone looking to try something new and different. Just aim for beautiful weather on the day you choose.
