love it I highly recommend them love the way they attended to my children ❤❤❤the staff is awesome 😁😁
Super friendly and helpful!
These people are always rescheduling which was the reason i switched my kids the first time. The hygienist/dentist is always calling out reason to why the appointments have been cancelled.
My visit today was a consultation about a treatment plan for my son. Instead of listening to my concerns and working with me to create a plan that best worked for my son and my family, the two dentists there formed their own plan in less than five minutes and refused to even consider listening to us about what we felt was best for our child. Rather than completing his dental work in stages, they wanted to take him to the hospital to perform at least 12 dental procedures on him at one time under anesthesia. He’s seven! Twelve... read more
Edited to update! He has an infection and still no response by email from them on pics I sent, nor a call back by phone from dentist! Took my son Tuesday at 1 for a filling they couldn’t do (not his first cavity either he’s had 2 fillings before no issues). By 8 pm that night lip was swollen, I called them first at 8 that night on the emergency line, 2nd call was today at 10:46 AM. Still no returned phone call from the dentist! He will not go back there again! Parents think twice!

The employees were rude my wife is pregnant and they prescribed her pain medication. Call the OBGYN and they said that will harm the baby.
My 5 and 7 year old were scheduled for dental work at 11 we were still sitting there at 12 and they told us it would be at least an hour before they would be taken back. They were not allowed to eat after midnight the night before and were begging for food so we cancelled our appointment. This office does an amazing job on cleanings, however, they REALLY need to rethink their schedule times for children needing dental work done. it is unacceptable to make small children wait that long for food.
Business response:
Denise, we are sorry to hear that your experience at Claxton Smiles was not what you had hoped for. We do our best to stay on schedule to care for all of our patients, but there are certain situations, especially on IV Sedation days, that cases become complicated and we face delays. Please give us a call so we may better assist you in rescheduling and taking care of you and your family.
My son had an appointment this morning at 9:30 for dental work. I got a phone call yesterday saying that he couldn’t eat or drink past midnight (which I thought was a late appointment for that, for a 4 year old especially) We get there at 9:30, and we are still waiting at 10:30 so, I got up and asked the front desk how much longer we would be waiting. She said it would be another hour. I asked if we could reschedule for an earlier appointment because he was starving, they told me I didn’t stay for the appointment I would not... read more
All of the staff were very kind and professional. The dentist talked me through the process of my root canal and his work was very neat and clean. I highly recommend this dental office for adults and children in need of dental work.
