Just not a good setting for rehabilitation. The staff don't seem to understand addiction in the least. Doses aren't based on what the patient needs to stay clean and progress in their life but limited to what nurses and doctors who have spoken to you once think. Also, the view on cannabis is literally archaic, they'll let somebody take mounds of benzos they prescribe, but you better not choose to smoke a joint instead, even though it's legal, they'll treat you like you're still a useless drug addict, and also kick you out.... read more
If you are looking for a methadone clinic that will help you alleviate stress from your life, find somewhere else to go if you can. The clinic in Cedar Bluff, Virginia is more concerned about rules and regulations than the client's peace of mind and stability. Love the workers here they are all amazing. This placed saved my life I would not be alive today. This place taught me how to deal with severe depression anxiety and panick attacks without medication. This place also taught me how to stay sober and find myself again that I had list during years of drug use and traumatized life!! As a person who has been in numerous different MAT(medicated assisted treatment) programs I can honestly say this clinic is a lot better then some of course there’s room for improvement(my opinion) but overall it’s a good place and I’m beyond grateful that my wife n myself are patients there
The Staff mislabels random urine samples because of the newly hired Staff’s incompetence. Most of the Counselors have quit and/or been fired and the newly hired Counselors are not familiar with the system and results in a lot of Malpractice. The Organization has many times violated HIPPA and refuses to release medical records to the patient upon request.
