The recent staffing changes in coaches has brought a new positive feeling to the club. There isn’t unprofessionalism taking place by directors and head coaches. The coach my child had would ignore me as a parent and would ignore my child as a player, unless it was to give her dirty looks and “correct” her. This coach would even talk trash about players during games to other players and allow bullying on the team. As a former player with many coaches, I knew it wasn’t how it’s done. First time Club Strike member, long time, "other", Volleyball club participant. (Daughter) With so many clubs it is very competitive, couldn't decide what club to join. Went to the open gyms to see what the coaching is going to be like and other athlete skill levels. Was amazed at their coaching skill level and interaction with athletes.
