I’ve lived in this home for over 50 years and recently experienced my first HVAC service with Comfort Source. I’ll start by acknowledging that John Hargett may be the most polite and thoughtful technician to come here. He was scheduled from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and I received a call from him around noon “apologizing” for his being late. What? He wasn’t late! Evan D. was an excellent technician! Thorough, quick, unobtrusive! I was able to continue with some work from home tasks during the visit. He was also great working around my two kitties who supervised his work. He walked me through some suggestions, and pointed out more urgent things vs. upgrades to consider! One reasonable price covers two maintenance visits a year! Can’t beat it!
Evan was a bit early which was great, got to work immediately to replace the misfunctioning parts on the AC system. It still had a problem. It was discovered the compressor needed replacement and he was able to find one, get it and install it on the blazing hot day. He was serious minded, polite, diligent, knowledgeable, and successful. I am thankful that the heat pump system is under warranty.
I received great service from Comfort Source. My son recommended the company and I am thrilled I took his advice. This service was done in Fall 2025. My appointment was next day service and the problem with my air handler was quickly diagnosed. The part was available on an old air handler in my garage and the technician swapped out the part. We had a mini split unit installed less than 2 years ago, purchased the service plan and everything was fine until a couple months ago the unit quit heating. We were scheduled for a service check in December, but were put off several times. When the unit stopped heating it was in February so we needed it fixed quickly for our kennel.
