I had a very disappointing experience with Connections Wellness (Denton location), both clinically and financially. During my intake, I was clearly told that I had met my out-of-pocket maximum and would owe $0 for services. Based on that, I began attending outpatient therapy. I’ve been going here for around five years And I love this place! They have helped me through so many stages of my life. Catherine is wonderful and the best psychiatrist I’ve ever seen! She listens to you and encourages you and helps you. Everyone that works here is so kind as well. 10/10 experience every time.

My time here was well spent, the staff, from the front desk clerk to the therapists, were all extremely helpful and kind, my entire time there! I had such a lovely experience, I would absolutely recommend it if you are thinking about joining the program here, or aren't sure, go in and chat with them! Can't recommend them enough. I learned so many good coping skills and so much about how my brain works, and they took my insurance, and have a lot of payment options!

Came here looking for help and Connections Denton wasted my time and money. I saw Alicia and she didn't communicate with me at all, I had to call over and over to get any answers (and all from the front desk lady or the medications department, Alicia never called, emailed or messaged me through the Kipu Messenger they said they use) I got the feeling like Connections didn't want to help, they just wanted to string me along and take as much of my money as they could. It was such a frustrating and draining experience

They don’t even use real therapists here it’s all social workers and interns . It’s all set up as group therapy too so you have to tell everyone your personal stuff and then they pretty much ask everyone in the group what they think about YOUR problem . It’s disgustingly set up as easy money grabs and it’s not made for people with real problems .
