Very disappointing. I’m not someone who leaves reviews but I’ve never been more frustrated with a medical professional office. I’ve seen April for several visits and each time I’ve considered seeing someone else. My husband ( psych nurse) and I ( nurse) are both very disappointed when at first we both enjoyed going. We have gone without medicines, and withdrawal before getting a response or a half “crap” response that still leading with no refills, no explanation, or no consideration. I had a very frustrating experience with Cookeville Psychiatric. I came in for my first appointment in mid-February for an evaluation and testing, followed by a late-February follow-up where Lindsay recommended medication. After leaving, I waited 48 hours for my pharmacy to receive my prescription, but it never arrived. I called multiple times, only to be sent straight to voicemail, and even texted their office with no response. Worst service ever. Had to pay over $100 to not get my medicine sent in until I called multiple times to get it in. The “boss” answering the phone is rude and does not care about people. I was actively having a panic attack bc of no medicine and she was being passive aggressive and rude the whole time. I paid $100 for some lady who didn’t even ask a single question about me. April is so wonderful. She really takes good care if her patients. So blessed to have her for my mental health provider.
April is the absolute best psychiatrist I have ever had. She’s compassionate and very caring. She’s always very helpful. Can’t forget Wes their amazing therapist.
