Horrible experience. Just purchased a very nice RV in NC. needed a place to store it for about a week to get tag and title paperwork complete in TN where I Live. But they won’t allow me to park my insured RV until it already has a Tag, with a Title complete. Wasted 30 mins on phone with someone from another country that has no concept of how silly this is. Rip off! They continued to raise the rates after it switched hands! Personally my unit went from $60 per month to $120. I was homeless and trying to find a place that I could afford to rent and everything I owned was in that storage unit. I had finally found a place to live but with no vehicle and circumstances being such as they were I was unable to pay the sudden price increase and come up with all of the money to rent and get utilities turned on! Drove over an hour to get to my new unit, had a hornets nest hanging inside when I opened the door. I am extremely allergic and was very lucky to not have been stung. Now my car is full of belongings an hour from home with nowhere to put it. EDIT: I will say that they refunded me without much hassle. I still feel that vacant units should be inspected before leasing to individuals. This one had not been open for some time if hornets had time to build a nest.
Had trouble getting into my online account to pay my bill but called and spoke to Diether who was very helpful and he fixed the issue. My only complaint is that he kept cutting out so his connection must’ve been really weak. He was very helpful though. As far as the unit I have only used it for a month and all is well thus far. It can be tricky to open the unit door because of the metal slide sticking but other than that it’s ok.
