The law firm was asked to redraw the divorce decree after it had been finalized. I went in with an itemized list of the changes that myself and my ex agreed on ahead of time and I had 2 consultations, one with the lead attorney and the other with her associate who drew it up and made it iron clad and then filed it with the court where the judge promptly signed off on it. I recommend Cordell and Cordell to anyone who needs help with a domestic dissolution of a partnership where assets need to be protected!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I used this company for my divorce. It cost me over $30k. They would answer any and every email to be sure to charge you. When it came time to actually fight for what I needed to survive, they did not help. I did not get alimony, my attorney had 10 days to appeal the judges ruling and did not. She knew my ex got a new job and did nothing, but let me know of my upcoming bill. She got me the bare minimum in child support, when again, she should’ve appealed it and didn’t. I highly recommend Alexandria Mederos. Divorce is a horrible matter. I knew during my free consultation with Alexandria, she would be the right one to help me navigate through this process. She helped me stay focused when the emotions where high. Her attention to detail was remarkable, and she was never apprehensive or panic-stricken. Again, divorce is horrible and you need someone strong like Alexandria to represent you.
So I’m sure every client experience will vary based off their factors regarding their divorce but here is my take on it. The firm can be expensive without a doubt. However I am sure there are more expensive and cheaper firms out there. I will be paying off my dues for a bit to come, but you are paying for the experience the firm offers. My experience with Cordell wasn’t good at all. Mrs Alexandria who was representing me not doing her job my Ex was having in affairs I have all the proves gave them to my lawyer she said Florida law man can have many women they want. All. She was promised to do when a gave her the case At the end I come out with nothing. My Ex made 300k and I made 50k she make me pay for everything. I ended up paying him money.
