My attorney was and is a nice person. He has since left the firm and that’s not much of a surprise. Billing is extremely aggressive and even in the case of serious matters, management lacks empathy. Had a very negative experience with the litigation manager. Final bill was $30k post trial and I broke it up in two payments, not fast enough for them to tell me they didn’t want me back once my lawyer went to another firm. I am filing a complaint regarding this law firm due to what I believe are unethical and predatory billing practices. I was billed for unnecessary and excessive charges, including services that are publicly available at no cost through the court. Additionally, the firm failed to provide meaningful legal representation or progress on my case. I have records and proof supporting these concern. Absolutely terrible - I called about needing help for my child, I have their attorneys information for and emergency and and slam dunk of a situation. I just needed help with the process and paperwork - they took my $180 for consultation and then called and said it wasn’t a good fit. Thanks for nothing - another snake in the industry
I got treated unfairly by this company.. I paid a 2600$ retainer to get help on defending custody rights for my daughter. I ended up not needing to pursue my rights the lawyer told me he will return my retainer. I got poor communication to get help from the lawyers. I had to basically chase down my lawyer to get a sit down. They charged me $125 to read an email I sent less then a paragraph long! I didn’t believe some of the bad reviews before I hired them but now I know they really are scammers. The lawyer they gave me in the court room was terrible and was on holiday leave when I really needed help and then quite working there half way through the case. They charge you for every minute they can and do things without you asking them too. Thinking of hiring them run the other way as fast as you can!
